All Personal Protection Training courses taught at Washtenaw
Sportsman's Club have several basic requirements:
The student must furnish the appropriate amount of COMMERCIALLY
LOADED (store purchased, no hand loaded or custom ammunition of
any type are allowed) ammunition for his/her handgun (PPT = 150
Rounds, PPT Review = 100 Rounds, First Steps = 50 Rounds) to
complete the course. If the student does not own a suitable
handgun, arrangements can be made - please call 734-417-9446 for
information.
Registration, which must be completed prior to the course,
requires a valid driver's license or adult consent for minors.
Payment in full is due at the time of registration (cash or check
- no credit cards). Please arrive one half hour prior to the class
to complete registration.
Washtenaw Sportsman's Club can furnish eye and ear protection, but
it is strongly recommended that the student purchase these items
since they will be required for future practice with firearms. You
will also be more comfortable with your own equipment.
The pistol range at Washtenaw Sportsman's Club is an outdoor range
with covered firing points. The student should dress appropriately
for the expected weather conditions. In the summer the student
should bring insect repellent since the club grounds are heavily
wooded in the immediate area of the shooting range.
