Hi
300/600 Yard Practice

On Wednesdays with the exception of the last Wednesday of the month, 300/600 yard Practice will begin at 1:00 P.M. Those wanting to shoot on the first relay need to arrive by 12:30 PM in order to begin firing at 1:00 PM.
Relays 1 & 2 will be slow fire from the 600-yard line. Relays 3 & 4 will be designated for 300-yard, rapid or slow fire, practice.

The last two relays starting at 5:30 PM will be 600-yard slow fire only.
If there are no 600 yard or 300-yard shooters waiting to shoot, 100 and 200 yard firing is permitted.

On the last Wednesday of the month, many shooters take the entire day off work. Shooters will need to arrive by 9:30 AM in order to begin firing at 10:00 AM

Those taking a half day off will need to arrive by 12:30 PM in order to begin firing at 1:00 P.M.
If you arrive late, you will be squadded on the next available relay, no exceptions.

On the last Wednesday of the month, appropriately paired shooters can shoot 300, 400, 500 and 600 yards with a time limit of 10 minutes at each range. If there are not paired shooters for 400 and 500 yards, the 300 and 600-yard stages will be 25 minutes each.

The road guard and line officer positions will be shared for best time utilization.

Course of fire: 30-minute practice sessions.

New Shooters: New shooters are required to come earlier (12:00 to 1:00 pm) to have their rifle zero confirmed at shorter range (100 or 200 yards) while demonstrating shooting proficiency before being allowed to shoot at the 600 yard distance. Long Range Qualification Cards are issued to new shooters for use at future practice sessions or club matches. Line Safety Officer has final say.
