Awards will be cash, juniors will not receive awards. Cash awards will be mailed after the conclusion of the match, for individual matches and the match aggregate, provided there are a sufficient number of competitors. Awards will be based on one award per category and/or class provided there are at least five (5) competitors in each category and/or class. Unclassified shooters will compete in the Master Class, and will not have a separate award category unless there are five (5) unclassified competitors. There will be a separate award for the service rifle category provided there are five (5) competitors in each class.
The Match Winner will be eligible for Match Winner and Individual Matches but not for Category Awards.
Mid- Range Prone 3x600 yard matches will consist of three 20 shot matches. Matches 1 & 2 will be any rifle/any sight and Match 3 will be any rifle/iron sights. Matches 1 & 3 will include 4 sighters and Match 2 will include 2 sighters. All three Matches may be fired with scope if desired and the competitor will be entered into the Optical Class. During Mid-Range Prone Matches, F-Class competitors will fire on the MR-1FC target center and fire for classification as per NRA Highpower Rule Changes effective 2007. F-Class shooters will be elgible for class awards only!
The match director may modify the tournament before the start of the match and will notify the competitors prior to the match. The specific NRA rules for the tournament (e.g. alibis, number of sighters permitted) will be announced to each relay prior to the firing of match number one. The order of firing and relay structure will be decided by the Match Director based on the number of competitors, number of serviceable targets and number of target pullers available. Three or four relays will be expected to be the norm with consideration given to inclement weather. Please do not ask the Match Director to change the pit rotations-they are selected to give everyone as nearly equal time in the pits as is possible. Competitor responsibilities may include road guarding, handling a radio in the pits or running the line in lieu of target pulling responsibilities. 80 Round Regional Matches are expected to conclude at 6 P.M.. If you are unable to stay to complete your target pulling duties, please do not begin the match!
Speed Limit on Club Grounds: The speed limit on all club grounds is 15 MPH. No Exceptions.
The speed limit at Washtenaw Sportsman’s Club is Fifteen Miles (15) per hour. Please obey the speed limit and watch for pedestrians, especially near the entrance. The speed limit is a continuing source of controversy at Washtenaw Sportsman’s Club, please help us out by keeping at or under 15 MPH
