We are an organization of shooters who shoot hand cast lead alloy bullets for both target competition and hunting.
The Washtenaw Cast Bullet Shooters conducts bench rest rifle
matches monthly March through October. There are many
classifications to allow everyone to participate in their form
of matches with their rifle or handgun. We have classifications
for jacketed bullets, hunter class pistols
(Revolvers & TC Contenders)New
for 2009 - The Top Gun Competition. Compete in our matches and
earn points toward the illustrious Top Gun Trophy. Pints are
earned in each match based the the percentage of record in each
of the 4 matches. 10 shot groups at 100 yards, Score at 100
yards, Score at 200 yards and 100/200 yard Score Aggregate.
Everyone is welcome to come and compete, any rifle, any ammo. We
even have a class for those wishing to use a revolver. (.357 and
up).
Anyone may participate in our matches. You may use any rifle, any
bullet. Everyone that participates has a great time. If you shoot any type of High Power or Varminter matches,
our matches would be excellent practice during your off
season.
We have informal practice sessions where we practice our
marksmanship, exchange ideas and help those that are interested
become better shooters. These are usually conducted weekly on
either Thursdays and/or Tuesdays. If you are interested in shooting
cast bullets, there is no better place to learn.
