1) MUCC Meeting held at Tri-County: $983.00 in Youth Camp Fund, $596.20 in General Fund.
* Special guest speaker Joe Zurawski from Tri-County spoke on good community relation, possibly having
Club members on local committees.
* Gun Clubs are zoned Agriculture A1 , Tri-County is in a CP zone, but was grandfathered in, so is protected
from “noise” complaints. There can be problems with buiding expansion, such as no expanding closer to the
road.
* If there are a lot of complaints the local gov’t can push rules on club operating times.
* Have Range Safety Classes
* Know what is down range of ranges.
* Document all correspondence with officials, personal can change both in the club and with government
Officials.
2) Statewide V.P. Paul Farrel spoke on the Asian Carp problem, the poison Ronone was put in the Chicago
Cannel and so far no Asian Carp have been found.
The Gov. is moving the DNR & DEQ together, she wants to be the one to place the director. The Senate
Has already voted no, we are still waiting on the Legislature.
