Our next hunter safety class will be the evenings of July 12, 13 & 14, 2010. See the WSC hunter safety web page for more information. Class informaton is also posted on MDNRE's recreational safety web site http://www.dnr.state.mi.us/recnsearch/
The class after that will be the big September class. Again, see the WSC web page and the WSC events calendar for the latest information. The September class information will be posted on MDNRE's recreational safety web site when the September class opens for registration.

Segmon,
We'd be glad to have your 12 year old join us for a hunter safety training class.
The class information, including course fee and registration information, is posted on MDNRE's recreational safety web site http://www.dnr.state.mi.us/recnsearch/ and on the WSC hunter safety web page. See both web sites for class information.
There is no minimum age for hunter safety training in Michigan. We do not make a recommendation for age. Parents and legal guardians must decide if their youth is ready to hunt and handle firearms. All students, youth and adult, receive the same training and all must meet the same standards to successfully complete their hunter safety training.
The course fee is $10. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. See the web sites listed above for registration information.
